Extra Curricular Activities

Sport:

There are many sporting and musical opportunities for the children of Boston N.S.
All children take part in the following:
Hurling coaching given by coach from Clare GAA.
Gymnastics lessons (beginning October 2014)
Swimming lessons
The Senior children have recently engaged in the following competitions:
North Clare Athletics
Indoor Hurling/Camogie Tournament
Basketball Tournament
Soccer tournament
Camogie/Hurling tournaments
Last year the children were also very privileged to get a visit from some coaches from Munster Rugby where the children were introduced to tag rugby.
This year they will be adding Gaelic football to their list of many sports!

Music:

The children have the opportunity also to learn musical instruments for e.g. tin whistle and guitar.

Other activities!

Throughout the year the children also have the opportunity to take part in a play and also to attend plays and other outings to enhance their education.

School Quiz:

Well done to the girls and boys from Boston and Tubber National School who took part in the schools quiz held in Ennis National School on Tuesday 25th November. A great evening was had and well done to all of you for taking part. You did yourself and your school proud.
