Camogie- Boston/Tubber/New Quay:

Congratulations to the Girls for reaching the Camogie Final against Kilnaboy this coming Wednesday the 14th of June. The final will be played at 10am in Cusack Park Ennis. Please come out and support the girls. 

The girls put on a supper team performance on the day but unfortunately they lost out to Kilnaboy on the day. A big thank you to our sponsor Patrick and Patricia Taaffe  who brought the teams to Dennis Den afterwards. The children had a great day out and it was a super experience to play in Cusack Park.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hurling:

Well done to all who take part in the boys hurling blitz. The worked very hard and put in a great effort. They played 3 games against Holy Family, Kilnaboy and Mount Shannon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Operation Transformation 10 @ 10 on Friday 10th of February:

The whole school along with the majority of schools in Ireland took part in 10 @ 10 last Friday. The children got active for 10mins with their peers and teachers outside. The children took part in lots of different stations such as skipping, hula hoops, basketball, beanbags and lots more. A great morning was had and everyone enjoyed getting active and healthy together.

The children in Boston N.S. have started getting ready for 10 @ 10 with operation transformation. On the 10th of Feb at 10 O’ clock every primary school in Ireland is going to try carry out 10 minutes of exercise. The children have been following the videos online to help them get active and stay healthy.

The children in Boston N.S. were delighted to welcome Sinead today and show off their lovely new set of jerseys that she won for the school.  Sinead entered a ‘Persil Kits for Schools’ campaign and when she was picked out as a winner she nominated Boston N.S. to receive the personalise jerseys, short and kit bag. The children of Boston N.S. joined with the children from Tubber N.S. for a skipping day on Thursday 19th of May in Tubber GAA Hall. They had lots of fun and learned a lot of different types of skips i.e. double skip, double dutch, hop and skip on one leg and so on.

Great fun today the 14th of Oct’15 in Tubber GAA pitch. Boston and Tubber N.S. had a Gaelic Football blitz. The teachers and Eoin their GAA coach were very impressed with the skills and enthusiasm the children played with.

Today the 1st of October the children of Boston N.S. participated in Gymnastics in Ennis. The School is taking part in Super Troopers where the emphasises is on being active and healthy eating.

The children of Boston N.S. have been having great fun playing Gaelic football over the last few weeks. They will begin gymnastics on Thursday the 1st of October.

The children can now enjoy some playground games thanks to the support of Clare Sports Partnership who providing stencils and paint. Also, thanks to those who volunteered on the day.
